At its core, Ozone was always a phenomenal sounding product with some of the best DSP in the industry. However it needed some help to reframe its impressive features in a way that professionals would take seriously. A big part of the story was metering. We overhauled the visualizations throughout Ozone’s processors to provide critical visual feedback. And we created a new configurable view called Meter Bridge that introduced an innovative 3D spectrogram that allowed engineers to compare instruments or stems visually. Many of these improvements live on in Ozone today, over a decade later.
