Photophore is made by Taika Systems LLC ("we" or "us"). This page explains what happens to your information when you use Photophore on iPad or iPhone, or as a plug-in inside another music app. It covers both the original Photophore and Photophore 2.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

Taika Systems LLC does not collect your personal information when you buy or use the app.

Photophore has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. It doesn't ask for access to your microphone, camera, location, contacts or photos.

YOUR PRESETS AND SETTINGS

Your presets and settings are saved on your device, and they stay there unless you move or share them yourself. If your device backs up to iCloud, Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy.

When Photophore runs as a plug-in, its settings are saved inside your host app's project, the same as any other plug-in.

PURCHASES

Purchases go through Apple's App Store. Apple sends us sales reports, which don't include your name, email address or payment details.

CRASH REPORTS

If you've turned on Share With App Developers in your device's settings, Apple may send us crash reports and usage statistics. These reports don't identify you. We use them only to find and fix bugs. You can turn this off at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

CONTACTING SUPPORT

If you contact us through the support form or by email, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write, such as your device model or the app you use Photophore in. The form is run by our website host, and messages arrive in our email. We use what you send to answer you and to fix the problems you report. We don't sell your information or add you to a mailing list.

THIS WEBSITE

This website runs on Squarespace. Like most websites, it may use cookies to work properly and to count visits. Squarespace's privacy policy explains how it handles that information.

CHILDREN

Photophore doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what the app collects, we'll also say so in the App Store release notes.
